AICI Team

AICI Staff

The Adoption Information Center of Illinois (AICI) is adminstered by Adoptions Unlimited, Inc. (AUI), a 501(c)(3) non-profit managed by Executive Director Marilyn Panichi, MSW, ACSW.

The AICI is managed by our Director, DeAudrey Davis, MSW, who has more than 15 years of child welfare experience. Other AICI staff include our Permanency Specialist, who helps workers list waiting children; our Recruitment Coordinator, who actively seeks families for individual children; and our Resource Manager, who administers the AICI call center.

The Resource Team includes Resource Workers who staff the call center, register families, suggest matches between children and families, and provide information and referrals regarding adoption, foster care, and post-adoption and guardianship services. The Resource Assistant maintains and updates our extensive list of resources available to adoptive families. Two of the Resource Workers are bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.

The Information Services Team handles technology and information distribution. This team is directed by the AUI Executive Assistant, who also contributes to the Family Connections Project and the Infant Adoption Awareness Training Program. The Information Services Team includes the Reception Support Assistant, who directs incoming calls, updates our database and prepares information to mail to families and workers. The Information Services Assistant manages the AICI database, creates reports, provides IT support, and performs graphic design and video editing tasks. The Communcations Coordinator updates the website and produces written materials.
