ILFAPA Caregiver Conference (Aug. 27-29)

Registration is now open for the Illinois Foster & Adoptive Parent Association Caregiver Conference, which will be held in collaboration with DCFS. The weekend conference will take place August 27-29 at the Oak Brook Hills Marriott Resort, located at 3500 Midwest Road in west suburban Oak Brook.

This year's conference is titled, Fostering Positive Outcomes for Children, and is open to foster, adoptive, and relative caregivers in Illinois. Up to 14 training hours are available through a variety of workshops, covering development, education, health, behavior, and parenting topics pertinent to youth of all ages.

Registration is on a first come, first served basis. The conference includes lodging (with a selected or assigned roommate) and meals at no charge.
