Heart Gallery Spring Reception (March 27)
Want to learn more about Illinois children who are waiting to be adopted? The Heart Gallery of Illinois provides a perfect opportunity to discover these children through a series of beautiful portraits and informative biographies.
Heart Gallery of Illinois portraits will be displayed at the Jackson Junge Gallery from March 22 to April 4. The Jackson Junge Gallery is located at 1389 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622. The gallery is open Tuesday-Friday from 10:00-7:00, Saturday from 10:00-6:00, and Sunday from 12:00-5:00.
A spring reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 27, from 4:00-7:00. The reception will feature several speakers with expertise in foster care and adoption, as well as a variety of take-home resources. We will also show a scene from the DVD version of "Strong Connections," a play written and performed by foster care alumni.
The Heart Gallery of Illinois is made possible through the generous contributions of volunteers. Adoptions Unlimited, Inc. works with professional photographers throughout the state who donate their time and talent to help capture the vibrant personalities of waiting children. The Heart Gallery of Illinois was launched in 2005 and has displayed portraits of dozens of waiting children, several of whom have been placed with loving, adoptive families.
