What is the ALS?


The Adoption Listing Service (ALS) has been operating for more than 30 years. It is a matching service that helps connect waiting children with loving adoptive families.

Once a worker registers a child with the ALS, then AICI can help them recruit an adoptive family by using the following tools:

  • Photolistings on this website and our partner sites
  • Video and slideshow presentations
  • Our database of listed families
  • Features in newspapers and newsletters
  • Special recruitment programs, such as the Heart Gallery of Illinois
